Round 3 of the Portuguese Off-road Championship was held last weekend at the Ortigosa track. Saturday was practice for pilots to adapt to the track and try new things.

Qualifications heats were held on Sunday morning. Pole-position went to Miguel Matias who won 2 of the 3 qualifiers.
For me, I finished in 4th place. During heats I made some mistakes (which cost seconds), so once I was out of contention for making pole position, I chose the third round to make some changes in car for more benefit in the final. In my 1/2 final I finished in 3rd place which ensured my place in the final starting grid in 4th place.

For the final my car was very good in terms of speed and stability especially in the more damaged zones of the track. At first I got up into 2nd place with leader Matias ahead. Then he had some problems. I made some mistakes when I was in 2nd place, but I managed to recover well and then retook the lead until the end.
